On 8th July 2002, the first CRAICCHS health centre opened as an accredited, community controlled Aboriginal Medical Service. On 7th July 2022, CRAICCHS celebrates 20yrs of service to First Nations people in Cherbourg and the South Burnett, and the opening of the new extension to our health centre. There's a kind of beautiful symmetry to that - almost 20yrs to the day - and during NAIDOC Week - which is all about empowerment, community and culture. Congrats CRAICCHS!
